Hamburg, 03.01.2019 - Under the motto "Not only talk about digitization, but also show how it can look like in practice and make it come alive", leogistics GmbH, global SAP logistics partner in the area of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) with specialization in transportation management, warehouse management and yard management, will be presenting itself at LogiMAT 2019 in Hall 8, Stand D48. The focus will be on the leogistics digital supply chain (d.s.c.), a holistic solution that combines transport planning, collaboration, transport execution, tracking & tracing and internal logistics processes in one platform. It supplements the SAP SCM standard portfolio and supports the entire, media-break-free control of both internal and external transport processes across all modes of transport (truck, rail, ship). In addition, leogistics will present its comprehensive range of services relating to the digitization of logistics processes, including the realization of innovations such as IoT applications. Further topics are the leogistics cloud solutions SLOT and Track & Trace as well as the use of Augmented Reality. Visitors to the fair will receive live demonstrations of the digital exhibits on site and can test them for themselves.

With leogistics d.s.c, leogistics offers process, application and technology competence: The solution developed on the basis of SAP technology encompasses both dispositive and executive transport processes and maps the requirements of efficient real-time tracking on the basis of the latest technologies. It enables transparency and efficiency because it integrates all upstream and downstream SAP systems, relevant process participants as well as IT and system environments without media disruptions. In addition, digitization strategies such as IoT or cloud solutions can be linked with existing systems. This creates real digital supply chains," explains Käber. Preconfigured processes for plant and location logistics as well as rail and port logistics are already integrated in leogistics d.s.c.. LEOGISTICS TRACK & TRACE - REAL-TIME TRANSPARENCY AND ACCURACY
The cloud-based solution enables integrated monitoring of transports, including inflow control and shipment tracking. It includes a driver app with tour status information, chat function and GPS track, time window management with integration of slot data in the driver app and check-in and check-out with feedback of status information from the yard to the tracking solution and vice versa. In addition, the solution offers tracking of incoming and outgoing trucks including shipment tracking and visualization on a set of maps with color coding for plan deviations, congestion information, diversions and ETA recalculation.
LEOGISTICS SLOT - TIME WINDOW MANAGEMENT
Available as SAP On-Premise or in the Cloud, leogistics SLOT ensures efficient planning and execution of time windows to be booked. The high functional depth of the solution not only allows the mapping of fixed defined and dynamic time window lengths, but also the separate processes of a time window management along several loading points (Multiple Slot Management). Users also achieve a reduction in standing and throughput times, equalization of peak times in loading and unloading, optimized use of personnel and loading resources (e.g. crane, forklift, loading ramp), efficient communication through integration of all process participants and avoidance of double data storage through interface-free SAP integration.
